Isolation Series
March 9th, 2010
Islands of isolation, breaking imagery up into a series of ‘land elevations’ that layer up the subject. An extension of how we are all individuals and made alone. Distance from the piece creates the image and makes the plane visible which is then distorted by getting closer.
Critiques:
Craig Kalpakjian: All islands are connected to one another under-neath the sea. Is the relationship of the pieces to one another just as a formation of an archipelago?
