Islands

“Essentially the whole planet is a bunch of islands.” He is working with topographical drawings on top of just right how drawings of people. I want them to be universal and ambiguous to be relatable to everyone.
Critiques:
Craig Kalpakjian: There should be some sort of relationship between the content and the shapes.
Neil Jones: What is the pattern’s relationship to the photo? They should relate to some degree.
Darrell Appelzoller: I want to get away from 2D work.
Jen Frost Smith: Work in Maya for 3D – and make the elevation stand or something – maybe meaning could relate to someone’s life.
Timothy Druckrey: The ‘Body Works Project’ looks too much like a puzzle, maps on medical images on marking on the human bodies. Ask yourself ‘Am I trying to use 2D data and analyze it into 3D data?” NASA is trying to do it as are surgeons and the medical community. What do you want out of this image? There needs to be a relationship with the image (or procedure of the image) and of the 3D attribute (or procedure of the 3D space.)
