Talking about Turrell

James Turrell – that artist that works in the dessert south-west using “light” to create environments that fully encompasses the audience. Also has an on-going piece that deals with the alignment of the moon within a constructed crater environment.

Andy has been reflecting projected imagery against walls and other reflective surfaces to create abstractions. To challenge the perception of how we “see” by using abstract shapes (cubes, triangles) or/and basic colors that are installed in a space.
